Episode 2 of Fox’s procedural drama, 911 Lone Star, opens with a woman waking up to find her ex has stolen her mobile home, with her in it. Enter the 126, with firefighter Marjan Marwani and paramedic T.K. Strand flying over top the mobile home in a helicopter. Marjan rappels down from the helicopter and crashes through the skylight of the mobile home to rescue the woman.
We later see Tommy Vega and Grace Ryder discussing Tommy’s new crush, the pastor of her church she came on to, and Tommy coming up with the idea to not call him back, which later results in pastor Trevor showing up at the 126 firehouse to ask Tommy on a date. As she becomes more and more flustered in front of him, you can see T.K. and Nancy Gillian eavesdropping on their paramedic captain from the ambulance.

The episode takes us down Owen Strand being asked to plant a listening device in the Honor Dogs (an extremist Nazi biker gang planning an attack in Austin) headquarters by the FBI, but as he seems to complete the task, he runs in to Sgt. O’Brien, the firefighter-hating cop who had a change of heart in season three’s ‘Red vs. Blue.’ When Owen brings up his meeting with O’Brien to the FBI agent, she realizes she and her partner neglected to tell Owen how to activate the device, which results in him having to go back and potentially be caught being undercover. Closer to the end of the episode, O’Brien shows up at Owen’s house with the listening device, saying he knows how to spot suspicious people, and taking Owen on a ride with him somewhere.
Following up on Carlos Reyes’ reveal that he’s married to his best friend, Iris Blake, in last week’s episode, T.K. and Carlos have Iris over for dinner at the Tarloft, hoping she’ll sign the divorce papers. With Iris’ schizophrenia, she quickly begins pushing T.K.’s buttons, as she grills him with questions ranging from “So, you want to get married. Why?” to “Carlos said you used to be a firefighter, now you’re a paramedic, don’t they make less?” to “How many comas have you been in?” with T.K.’s reply being “Oh just the three, but only two since I moved to Texas.” Eventually, Iris is given the divorce papers, but doesn’t sign them right away stating “No, I need to read it. Think it over.”

T.K. later goes to find Iris at the homeless shelter where she works, asking to talk. Asking if she had a chance to read the divorce papers, Iris said she did saying she thinks signing them is a “mistake.” Getting slightly frustrated and angry, T.K. says it’s not a mistake explaining that Carlos is “literally my heart.” Iris still refuses to sign the divorce papers, to which T.K. grits out, “He’s MINE.” Iris ends up clearing the air by saying she thinks T.K. should be Carlos’ first marriage, not his second, and she thinks her and Carlos should get an annulment. Before leaving, T.K. asks her what she meant by “you’re exactly what I expected,” Iris ends up hurting T.K.’s feelings by saying he’s “a hot mess” and “the bird with the broken wing,” explaining that Carlos always needs a project, and sinking it deeper, she says T.K. can be Carlos’ “life’s work.”

Later at the Tarloft, hung up on Iris’ words, Carlos picks up on T.K.’s mood and when Carlos asks if Iris was a project he felt like fixing when he married her, Carlos replies with “when I married Iris, I was the project. I was trying to fix myself.” T.K. then asks if he’s a hot mess and Carlos says “Oh you’re a hot mess, but you’re MY hot mess.” Going in for their second kiss during that scene, Carlos’ phone can be heard buzzing and he answers it saying “Yeah, this is Officer Reyes.”

With Tommy starting to have sex dreams of Trevor after she said yes to having dinner with him, she decides to invite Grace and Judd over for dinner the night Trevor is there, with Grace later telling Judd, “I think we were her third, fourth and fifth wheels.” Trevor leaves the dinner as soon as it’s over, but later comes back a few minutes later. Going to the door thinking he forgot something, Tommy opens it to have Trevor suddenly kiss her, which she returns.
The episode ends with Carlos pulling up to the homeless camp, where a car registered to Iris has been found abandoned, with her purse still inside.

Episode three, ‘Cry Wolf’ will be airing on February 7.
4×03 synopsis: As Owen gets pulled deeper into the FBI’s investigation of the motorcycle gang, Sgt. O’Brien makes a confession to him. Meanwhile, Grace and the 126 respond to a call from a man who claims his girlfriend slipped over the side of a cliff and Carlos searches for a missing friend, putting his own life in danger.
In the next episode, Carlos will be getting himself involved in the search for Iris, and knowing that he gets hit over the head with a shovel this season, I’m nervous about what that search might turn up. It appears that Carlos might get a little mad at T.K. for showing up at the homeless shelter to speak with Iris, and T.K. looks like he might blame himself for Iris going missing. Knowing that O’Brien is a cop, my thinking is he might be undercover in the Honor Dogs trying to dig up information about them from the inside, and now that Owen has gotten involved in the ‘undercover’ business, I’m scared Owen will end up in danger. I am excited to see how the search for Iris goes and how Tommy and Trevor keep doing. I’m thinking Tommy and Trevor might go on an official date with no “third, fourth or fifth wheels.” Hopefully we see Tarlos have a date night this season too!
