Grace:

At the 911 dispatch centre, Grace answers a 911 call from a boy named Linus. He asks Grace for help with his math homework and Grace teaches him a trick for his 7 times tables, saying you can sing them to the tune of happy birthday. During the call, Linus also reveals why he’s not at school that day. It’s because his mother keeps getting headaches that make her sleep a lot. Linus then calls a second time and asks if Miss Grace is on the phone. When she says she is, he asks her to help him clean a dish that he burned. When Linus’ mom, Janet, comes into the kitchen and hears her son is on the phone with 911, she takes the phone from him. When apologizing to Grace for this, she slurs her words a little bit, concerning Grace. Later that night, Grace brings up her concerns to her husband, Judd, and after Grace says she wants to check up on Linus and his mom, Judd suggests they go right then. When Grace knocks at the door of Linus’ house, she says she’s Miss Grace, and he opens the door. Shortly after he opens the door, there’s the sound of a crash in the house, and it’s revealed Janet just collapsed. Rushing into the house to help, Grace calls Tommy to get her expert paramedic opinion, and when Tommy gets Grace to check Janet’s eyes, Tommy comes to the realization that Linus’ mom has had a stroke. Rushing her to the hospital, Grace, Tommy and Judd sit with Linus while his mom is examined. Later, the Dr. Patel, the same doctor that treated T.K. in season three, comes over and tells them they got Janet to the hospital just in time.

Owen Strand:

Owen is trying to sell his motorcycle. After potentially losing out on a customer, a woman comes in, and after Owen says “Well, I can safely say you would look smokin’ hot on my bobber,” the woman reveals she’s Asha Fulton, from AFD’s Internal Affairs. Following this, starts a scene where the members of the 126 sit down in front of Asha, defending Owen and whatever he may have done to warrant a visit from HR, until Asha reveals Owen is not in trouble. Marjan is.

Marjan:

Back in episode 2, when Marjan rappelled down from the helicopter into the mobile home to save the woman who’s ex husband had stolen her home, Marjan called the woman, Lila, a crazy lady, when she wouldn’t leave with Marjan. Due to this, Lila and Mitch, the Geralds’, are now back together and are offended by Marjan calling Lila a crazy lady.

In order to not go to court, the Geralds’ want Marjan to publicly apologize on her Instagram, which she has over 5 million followers on, as well as share the link of the Geralds’ Go Fund Me for their mobile home on her Instagram as well. Going against her morals, Marjan refuses to comply to the Geralds’ wishes. Marjan does upload a video to her Instagram though, in which she further insults Lila, and then effectively resigns from the AFD. The episode ends with Marjan purchasing Owen’s motorcycle and riding out of the 126 station on it.

Asha and Paul:

While talking with the members of the AFD, Asha thinks she recognizes firefighter Paul Strickland. Later in the episode, when Paul comes to defend Marjan, Asha realizes where she recognizes him from. She recognized Paul from middle school, before he transitioned, and says his smile is something you can’t forget, leading us viewers to believe there may be a romance between Paul and Asha brewing this season.

Andy:

The episode opens with Andy, Sgt. O’Brien’s nephew, planning something with bombs, revealing he was the one who had stolen the Honor Dogs’ ammonium nitrite. Andy wanders into the 126 station, where a benched Marjan is, and as he lies about wanting to apply there and as Marjan goes to get an interest card, Andy steals a radio from the station. He is later seen touring an apartment for sale, and later, once he leaves, we see the apartment on fire. As the 126 is responding to the fire, Andy is seen sitting in a car listening to the feed from the stolen radio.

Episode 6, ‘This is not a Drill,’ will be airing on February 28.

4×06 synopsis: Capt. Strand reveals to the 126 he has been working with the FBI to help bring down a domestic terrorist group with his Austin motorcycle club/gang. The Honor Dogs then race Owen to respond to a bomb threat at the State Capitol and put a stop to the terrorist deadly plans.

Next episode/Future episodes:

911 Lone Star’s showrunner, Tim Minear, has said Marjan is not leaving the show. We are going to keep seeing Marjan as she is now on a path of self-discovery as she heads towards New Mexico.

We have definitely not seen the last of Asha either, as she and Paul are potentially going to become love interests.

We have also, unfortunately, not seen the last of the Geralds’, which leads me to believe as long as the whole thing with Marjan and them is not resolved, we will continue to see them.

I really loved seeing Natacha Karam (Marjan) and Sierra McClain (Grace) both have big storylines this episode! They both killed their storylines and were amazing throughout the episode.

As expected, Carlos was not in this episode, and as I was hoping, we unfortunately didn’t see any mention of what happened to him in episode 4. I really hope the show doesn’t gloss over his kidnapping ordeal, and I hope we at least see some mention of how episode 4 could have traumatized Carlos.

I’m super excited for tonight’s episode as we get to see paramedic bomb squad T.K. as well as paramedic backpack T.K.! I love seeing T.K. wearing his paramedic backpack, he looks so cute and small with it!
