Owen Strand
Throughout episode 13, Owen finds out a secret about Kendra he wishes she had told him sooner.
Making out in her bed, a man shows up in Kendra’s room, who Kendra introduces as her husband, Brett.
Kendra and Brett have an open marriage, in which they are fine with each other seeing other people.

126 Emergencies
The 126 paramedics responded to three emergencies in last night’s episode.
The first one had them arriving to an office building, responding to a woman whose tongue has swollen bigger than the size of a fist.
The second emergency has both EMS and fire responding to Kendra’s house, as Brett has gotten his arm pinned under the car he was trying to rotate tires onto.

The third, and final emergency of the episode, has EMS and fire heading back to Kendra’s house, as Brett has frozen to death in the cryotherapy chamber in the Harrington home. As Owen goes to begin chest compressions on a frozen solid Brett, his hands go right through Brett’s chest as it caves in like glass.

Grace
With animosity towards her father since she found out he cheated on her mother in season 2; Grace has been avoiding her father ever since.
With her parents babysitting Charlie, as Grace and Judd have shifts, and their usual babysitter couldn’t make it, a 911 dispatcher receives a call from Grace’s address. Grace’s dad has collapsed with a heart attack.

At the hospital, when Grace’s mother asks about Grace avoiding her father, it’s revealed her mother knew all along about the cheating, and urges Grace to forgive her father.
As Grace heals her animosity by singing a song to her father, her sisters enter the room, joining along in the singing.

When her father wakes up, Grace officially makes amends with her father to close out the episode.
Gabriel
In the last seconds of the episode, we see Owen answering his phone to an incoming phone call from Gabriel Reyes. Explaining that the Texas Rangers are on the case of Brett’s death, it’s revealed his death may be a homicide.
Thoughts
Based on the phone call from Gabriel, he and Owen will be teaming up to work together in next week’s episode, and I am terrified. Whenever Gabriel and Owen team up to work on something, their sons, T.K. and Carlos, always end up as collateral damage, and I do not want to see that happen again.
It was amazing seeing Grace’s sisters on the show, because 911 Lone Star had Sierra McClain’s sisters, China Ann and Lauryn, play Grace’s sisters, and it was amazing seeing them all on screen together again.
I loved seeing Sierra rock this episode. Whenever she is given an episode where she has a storyline, Sierra always makes the episode better because she is such a genuinely, amazing actress.
Next episode
Episode 4×14, ‘Tongues Out,’ airs on April 25.
4×14 synopsis: Owen enlists Paul’s help in proving Kendra’s innocence; Tommy deals with church gossipers over her relationship with Pastor Trevor.
Based on the promo for next week’s episode, Kendra has killed two other men before, and in the promo, it looks like she will be drugging Owen. This is giving me vivid season 3 flashbacks to when Owen attracts, Sadie, who ended up being a psycho stalker. If Kendra ends up being another crazy woman, I don’t understand how Owen keeps attracting them.

I am also excited to see Tommy and Trevor next episode and see how their relationship progresses without Trevor’s daughter trying to break them up.
