Back on December 17, 2022, Ronen Rubinstein couldn’t contain his excitement anymore about the upcoming season of 911 Lone Star, and ended up teasing his fans.
Being used to his teasing, as Rubinstein has been put in “spoiler jail” in the past, fans were quick with their replies to his post, ranging from the occasional “RONEN” in affectionate annoyance, to excitement.
Following December 17, Rubinstein began teasing more and more throughout December and into the new year.
On December 19, Rubinstein went into work for some Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) and gave a little tease about it on his Twitter. Fox TV’s Twitter account was quick to reply to Rubinstein’s post with their own, “RONEN.” Knowing he was in trouble, this was Rubinstein’s reply:
On December 27, Rubinstein posted a video of himself scrolling on his phone, with the caption, “Currently: Killing the Fandom,” which fans were quick to reply to.
One fan posted a video of Rubinstein from set of Rubinstein looking like he’ll be going up in a helicopter and saying the words “Roger Dodger.” The fan asked “Do we have a number for this one?” with Rubinstein replying that we’ll see that in episode 2.
The same day, Rubinstein posted a season 4 still from Tim Minear’s Facebook saying “Tied for my other favorite Episode so far…” and once again, fans flooded to his comment section, with some fans posting other season 4 stills and asking if they were also from that episode.
One fan accidentally replied with a photo of one of Rubinstein’s favourite singers, Harry Styles, saying “Is this the same episode??” and this was Rubinstein’s response:
The next day, on December 28, Rubinstein tweeted out “Just watched THAT scene again in Episode 1. If I had to describe it in two words. FAN. FAVORITE. Of all time. #911LoneStar #Tarlos.”
Replying to his own tweet, Rubinstein replied, “ONE of the fan favorites of all time. Ok thanks bye.”
On December 29, Rubinstein tweeted out “19 DAYS ! #911LoneStar.” As before the new premiere date, season 4 was set to premiere in 19 days from December 29.
As always, fans were quick to flood to Rubinstein’s comment section with questions hoping he’d answer them.
The following day, Rubinstein tweeted out “18 DAYS ! #911LoneStar.”
Rubinstein took a little break from teasing over the New Year’s holiday, but was back at it on January 9, tweeting, “Yup Episode 4 will be one of the greatest #Tarlos Episodes of all time. Goodnight. #911LoneStar”
Replying to his own tweet, he then said this:
Rubinstein once again became a tease monster on January 13, as he tweeted out, “T.K’ rescues this Season are INSANNNEEEEEEEEEEE #911LoneStar.”
With the season 4 premiere date now single digit days away, and the one week mark coming up this Tuesday, fans should be prepared to see more of Rubinstein’s teasing tendencies more and more.
